INTERIOR SHORING

Here is a picture of interior shoring for a project in the West Hills Portland.
Careful preparations of the interior floor surfaces were completed. Next was the additional layering of load dispersing panels and floor beams. Large shoring columns were put in place along with lots of flair and column bracing.

Outside the large panoramic windows is an exterior deck. We are fully rebuilding the multiple exterior decking systems on a very steep hillside along with substantial upgrades per the new owner request.

Extensive engineering was provided for all interior and exterior shoring.

The interior shoring of the massive glu-lam ridge beams were needed to provide lifting point loads to the house exterior. Portions of the homes living room were cantilevered on to the beams being replaced!

These shoring column systems stayed in place until the structural work was completed outside. Another fun and rather technical restoration project from James Poggi Inc!
